Biography
Professor MacKinnon has been at Clarkson University for over 30 years, beginning his career as a computer technician in the Educational Computing department. He earned his bachelor's and master's degrees at Clarkson while working as a computer technician, then IT Coordinator, and finally Instructor in the School of Business. He went on to earn his Ph.D. in Management at Carleton University in Ottawa and became an Assistant Professor in the Operations & Information Systems area of the School of Business. He is a lifelong resident of the North Country. His outside interests include being active in his church, fishing, farming, and woodworking.
